Pros: Excellent mountain biking in the Sierra Espuna with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide,
Mick. Fantastic hotel accomodation, superb meals at the hotel restaurant.
Cons: None.
Overall: This is the third time this year we have stayed at the Mariposa and taken on the challenges
of mounatin biking in the Sierra Espuna. A reasonable level of fitness is required to get the best out of the area, with long
climbs on fire roads but then some amazing singletrack to enjoy. A menu del dia (menu of the day) is always worth sampling.

Pros: fantastic food and accomodation, great riding on varied trails.Hotel owners could not have
been more helpful.
Cons: none
Overall: We were there for a week.Good weather good trails well guided 3-4hrs riding a day.The hotel
sits by itself on the road out of Alhama, we were picked up at the airport with all the bike bags and luggage for 3 straight
to the hotel,within 2 hrs bikes built and with beer in hand we sat and watched the sun go down what a start and it only got
better.If you want a good biking holiday go to the Mariposa and visit Mark and Sam brilliant hosts very highly recommended
by Witney MTB Club.

Pros: The Espuna, different trails every day, teeming with wildlife, a hidden gem that the Spanish
would love to keep to themselves.
try it youīll like it.
Cons: Canīt knock it at all....best to have transport though as the hotel is half way up a mountain.
Overall: The Espuna is without doubt one of the best MTB areas that I have been to in Spain, the
guide we used was 1st class and certainly knew every track and trail that was worth knowing, the hotel was absolutely delightful
as was the food, the cost was good and we booked through mtb-espuna.com who offer unbelievable deals.

Pros: The hotel is an excellent choice for cyclists. It is located very near to the start of most
trails and has secure storage for bikes in addition to providing bike hire. The resturant is very good with that homemade
feel and the bar is even better! Estrella Galicia on tap and at affordable prices. I will be staying here again when I return
for my next mountain biking trip.
Cons: No complaints.
Overall: The Mariposa is run by a very friendly, helpful and welcoming family. For a good out the
way break in a relaxing atmosphere, whilst still being affordable, I highly recommend it to you.

Pros: The area is absolutely outstanding for mountain biking, the single tracks are the best that
I have ridden, as well as that the scenery is spectacular, get there before they ruin it!!
Cons: None
Overall: Great friendly hotel, good value for money, decent bikes for hire and great facilities,
situation is top notch. Stayed at the hotel with 8 Welsh friends for 10 days, one word....fantastic!
We will be back!

Pros: The trails and the guiding, the guy is awesome and knows every tree and rock, great weather
too.
The hotel is second to non and at an excellent price.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Overall: Me and my buddies had a great week and certainly got put through our paces...going home
knackered!!!.
Great hotel with 12 different beers and great mouth watering home cooked food (excellent vegetarian options),
next time I will bring transport even though we get ferried around by the hotel it would be great to explore by ourselves.
Overall ....FANTASTIC!

Thank you so much, A superb week mountain biking on the Espuna, reasonable hire bikes for hire bikes!?.
The information supplied for us was excellent and the hotel owners were a mine of information and help, the accommodation
was good and the food devine.
Great overall price, we didnīt use a guide but next time perhaps we will.
Thanks again, we as a group will be back.

three of us stayed for a week mountain biking.We had a fabulous time.Looked after by all the family
with Sam cooking great vegetarian meals for me.The room was clean and well presented We were taken to Murcia and and a saturday
market on our quiet days for shopping, Mark took us to some of the ride start points as we oldies need all the help we can
get.All in all a very reasonably priced holiday, which all three of us enjoyed immensely so good infact we are planning to
return in 2009.If you can go enjoy we did.

myself and my riding buddy booked in for 1 night during our cycle tour around murcia,we liked the hotel
and were impressed with the service so much we changed our plans and stopped another night.Sams home cooking is a real treat
and Marks advice and help were invaluble.special mention must go to tom and cady who despite their tender years provided first
class service at all times. In a nutshell IF YOU ENJOY superb food, a wonderfull location and great service at a fair price
book the Mariposa now.you wont be disapointed.
